About this place
At 7 a.m., before Ginza fully stirs, コスタコーヒー CURA銀座店 offers a place to settle into a quieter start to the day. Breakfast is served from opening until 11 a.m. Choices include a plate with a croissant, sausage and scrambled eggs, or a set with a warm croque monsieur. Salad and orange juice are among the accompaniments, and acai yoghurt is another option. The sets make a substantial breakfast before work or a leisurely brunch on a day off.
For coffee, the menu spans milk-based drinks with different balances: a flat white pairs espresso’s depth with finely textured steamed milk, while cortado and cappuccino offer other options. If coffee is not what you fancy, the tea selection includes chai with fragrant spices and a gentle sweetness, a matcha latte made with Uji matcha and wasanbon sugar, and herbal teas.
For an afternoon break, baked treats include scones served with cheese cream and jam, carrot cupcakes and Sachertorte. For a more filling lunch, hot dishes include beef Java curry and Cosmo doria, with its generous assortment of ingredients.
The spacious interior stretches back from the entrance, and counter seats have power outlets, making them suitable for working on a laptop or reading. Seats by the road look out towards the streets around Kabuki-za, and orders can also be placed by scanning the QR code on the table. Near Higashi-Ginza Station, it is a comfortable place to pause between a stroll and a shopping trip.
